I feel it is really wrong what these suitors are trying to do. They are taking advantage of Odysseus’ wife, Penelope, and are planning to murder his son. They are doing all of this just to take his reign as king. They are showing no respect to his house and are making Penelope serve them. It’s because of this I am going to help Odysseus take back his home. Help him kill of those suitors that have been taking advantage of his wife. I will make up a plan on of to get in without any problems.

I am now with Odysseus. I have planed to disguise him as a beggar. He will not tell anyone his true identity, except his son, Telemachus, which will help us get in to the palace without a fight. I have disguised him and his son doesn’t know who he is. They are talking. Odysseus needs me to turn him back so that he can show his son his true identity. After awhile his son believes he is his father and we tell him the plan.

The plan is Telemachus will go and mingle with the suitors. He will try to become friends with them. He will give them drinks. He will then convince them to give him their weapons so that when they are drunk they cannot kill each other. While he is doing so and as Odysseus is disguised as a beggar, he will go to the front door. They suitors will come to the door and let him in. They will give him food and possible clothes. Then while they are doing that I will turn him back and we will fight the suitors together.

The plan didn’t go completely right. They invited him in but they are arguing. One suitor, Antinous, throws a chair at him. Odysseus gets really mad at him for doing so. Odysseus then kills him. So Odysseus and I fight all of the suitors. We win though and Odysseus gets his wife and his house back. Everything is back to normal and I feel happy with myself. I helped a man get his life back.
